I have a potential website project that I may be working on that is currently built with Wordpress. The site uses Gravity Forms with the Authorize.net plugin to allow customers to pay invoices. They can use a single form to make a one-off payment or they can create an account and have their information saved for future payments. All credit card and personal information are stored with Authorize.net.

I will be rebuilding the site with ExpressionEngine 4 and need to recreate the functionality mentioned above. Without having to learn the Authorize.net API and building something from scratch, are there any existing plugins for EE that could make the above happen relatively painlessly.

Thanks for any help.

Both CartThrob and Expresso Store are specific store add-ons for EE4 and both have the ability to work with Authorize.net payments.

  • I know they both work with Authorize.net but I need it to work in a very specific way. It needs to pull credit card and billing info from Authorize.net for customers that return to make future invoice payments.

  • My guess is that you probably should send a question into Vector Media Group who supply both products - they'll be able to tell you which is better for the specific use case you have in mind. cartthrob.com/support/index.php?pg=request Aug 17, 2018 at 4:57

You can use CartThrob's built-in Vault functionality to do this: https://www.cartthrob.com/docs/tutorials/authorize_later_with_vaults/index.html
