I have a custom weblog set on my website and it has three custom fields. Those three fields are taking images and the field type is nGen File Field.

Now the issue that um facing is, when there is one file added mistakenly and I try to delete the image, it is not happening. Rather it is taking me to the top of the page. When I hover over the delete button, it is showing an url like this one:

https://www.mysite.com/kronks/index.php?S=b1b24612d4c254fe8c104eb8e13241b4a3a533ee&C=edit&M=edit_entry&weblog_id=3&entry_id=696#

I am using EE version 1.7.1 and nGen File Field V 1.0

Anyone could help to solve this issue? And why this is happening?

Thanks in advance.

  • It's going to be hard to get any help running a nearly 9 year old version of EE. We want to help, but it's unlikely a dev/engineer here has an instance of EE anywhere close to that old that they could try and recreate/solve your issue. I'm sure you know what is coming: I implore you to prepare and execute an upgrade. From EE 1.7.1, it may not even be realistic, you may be looking at just rebuilding and importing your content. – jrothafer Feb 3 at 4:31
