Just got this one working on a similar project: Short answer: You have to make sure you are submitting all of the fields that the calendar module needs and that they are named correctly Long answer: At the end of the "save_calendar_data" var/function (starts on line 1191) of /themes/third_party/calendar/js/calendar_publish.js comment out "return success"...

EE requires the date format yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm AM/PM for the Entry Date. I know with jQuery's date picker you can make the submitted format different from the displayed format, but it doesn't look like the Bootstrap date picker has that option. One option would be to use an EEvent Helper date field, which omits the time requirement, and then set it to auto-...

Safecracker actually wants it like this: YYYY-MM-DD 00:00 AM Example: 2013-01-04 01:31 PM

It's not possible using Store's built in tags. You could do this by writing your own plugin though, if you're comfortable getting your hands dirty with a bit of PHP. To programatically change an order status in Store 2, you can find an order by ID like so: $order = Store\Model\Order::find($entry_id); You can then find and change the status like this: $...

We added a safecracker form with an extra field as a date field, and allowed the user to submit the date in this field. The entry went in under a 'pending' status, so it allowed the admin via the admin panel later to add it via the cal widget. Not entirely a 'non-hack', but might help the workflow if it is an option.

You can do that like this: {if segment_3} <input type="hidden" name="playa_field_name[selections][]" value="{segment_3}"> {if:else} {field:playa_field_name} {/if} Replace 3 with whatever URL segment the entry ID will actually be in, and playa_field_name with your actual Playa field short name.

OK... for all those out there, I apologize for the lack of communication and not changing the field type. The data does carry over. The field type processed correctly. Once the old saefcracker fields were updated to file fields the entries had to be re-saved in order to process them as file fields. Also, the saefcracker folder had to be returned to the ...

It's possible you forgot to upload the /themes directory when you upgraded EE. Try reuploading all the files in that directory to be eliminate that as the source of the error.

Received a mail back from the developers. It isn't possible at this moment but they are willing to put it on their list of potential things to do. No commitment towards if/when.

A few things to check: 1) Are there any required fields that you didn't add to the form? 2) Does the user you're logged into as (or the guest user you are using) have permissions to post in the channel? 3) Have you tried adding in the URL title field? It's not supposed to be required, but I've had that cause issues before.

You should just need to type {field:wygwam_field_name} within the {exp:channel:form} tag pair.

Your hidden fields match my safecracker forms. So first check the following... Step 1: Are you logged in as admin or another member group? Select: Member > member groups > [for your member group ] edit group Find in list: Channel Assignment Ensure this is set to yes: can post and edit entries in [channelname] Step 2: have you allowed access to custom ...

This is probably way overkill for what you need (just posting it here as a solution for others), but Photo Frame can do this no problem. Photo Frame has a feature that allows you to create dynamic file names so the images never get overwritten. You can create filenames in any format you want. So you could do this (any many more formats): {channel_id}-{...

If you are loading jQuery at the bottom of the page, safecracker will fail because it's adding javascript into the middle of your page before jQuery has loaded. Make sure that you either: Load jQuery in your header OR; Use Stash to output your {safecracker_head} tag below your jQuery in your main template.

I'm not sure how you could do exactly what you're asking, but have you considered using one of the member module add-ons like Profile:Edit or Zoo Visitor? They both allow you to tie a channel entry to a member, so you can have whatever custom fields you like. Profile:Edit has the added benefit of being developed on top of Safecracker, so it works exactly the ...
