I'm the developer of Charge so this is obviously biased. Charge works great for member subscriptions. The focus with Charge is to keep it as simple and rock solid for the developer and customer as possible. To that end - it's tied directly to using Stripe as the payment gateway. Understandably that's not going to be perfect for every project. I'm in the ...

(I'm with Vector, the people who are now behind CartThrob. I know this is an old question but it still pops up on Google sometimes for some of our customers, so I'm answering it). CartThrob Subscriptions fully supports Stripe in Europe (and any geography Stripe supports). And, Subscriptions allows you to gate access to content or pages based on a user's ...

Just made simple ext which will check users email at the end of registration and if user email domain is in white list - send them validation email. After validation put them into the group which has full access. hooks: member_member_register member_register_validate_members

Really simple bug in Simple Commerce Module. Open up mod.simple_commerce.php and look for where it's supposed to encrypt the subscribe data, it's around line 200. If you look carefully you'll find it's encrypting data for a regular payment not the $subscribe variable immediately above. Yeah, just change it to use $subscribe for encryption. Mission ...

It's relatively new to the market but have a look at Charge for member billing. Joel is a solid developer and makes great products.

The control panel for individual subscriptions is set to be released soon and will be updated at no additional cost.

Currently there are only 2 subscription modules that I know that you could transition to now that it looks like Membrr/OpenGateway are no longer going to be supported. Both options require a fair bit of work from you to handle the migration of content and subscriptions over but are probably better options then keeping a dead piece of software running your e-...

The most simple solution in case like this: Reboot the server.

No it can't do offline payments, we started with Stripe & Authorize.net Is this for non-renewing Subscriptions? Or also for auto-renew? No conflicts, we do want to support member registration and subscription signup on the same form. Would love to hear your set up. We want to gather as much feedback/ideas as possible. Please get in touch via our contact ...

If you're logged out, you shouldn't see anything, so make sure you're logged in. Second, this tag needs to be on a single entry page and it will try to figure out your entry ID by: Checking to see if you used an entry_id= or url_title= parameter on the {exp:comment:notification_links} tag Checking the URI to see if the entry ID shows up there So, if your ...

Buy All button: Yes it is possible to add all items to the cart with a single button you would need to use the {exp:store:product_form} tag pair wrapped around your channel entries tag or Matrix/Grid or Relationship/Playa tag pair. Full documentation of the product_form tag can be found here. {exp:store:product_form} {exp:channel:entries channel="...

Believe it or not, this was caused by an error in one of my email templates. When a subscription attempts to renew, it fires a trigger based on what the result of that renewal is. If you have a "send email" action linked to that trigger, the template parsing engine will attempt to parse the email template in order to fulfill action. If the email template ...

I've just realised this can be done easily by setting the cancel_now parameter of the {exp:subs:cancel} tag to 'no'. In fact this is the default behaviour!

1

From the docs, it implies you have to 'hard-code' your keys in your template : http://www.devdemon.com/documentation/subscriptions/#subs-payment-gateway-stripe I realise your reading the default templates however I would guess that if you use a default template via a subs tag it'll inject these values into globals, that or they are placeholders with ...

1

Have you installed the included templates? If so, go to the template subscribe_with_register.html and it includes a fully working example. The key is you must have register_member="yes" as a parameter and you must have at minimum these four fields: username, email, password and password_confirm. Custom fields can be added with m_field_id_1 with 1 being the ...

You need Subscriptions 1.5.3 for custom member fields to be detected. See: http://www.devdemon.com/expressionengine-addons/subscriptions

This bug has been fixed internally and an update will be released very soon.

As someone who has implemented a site using CartThrob & Subscriptions, I'd suggest you find an alternative. It's incredibly buggy and incomplete, and has caused us no end of headaches.

Store: As Derek mentioned you would need to create an extension to handle the logic of adding the user to a specific member group based upon their purchased items. Store does allow you to add a member to the default member group (per your membership settings) if they register a new account while they are completing checkout. Registering Members ...

1

Sure - you would write an extension that uses the store_order_complete_end hook. You'd then loop through the items in the order and perform your logic as to what member group the customer should get added to in the end.

This may be a bit too late to be helpful in your situation but in the event someone else runs into a similar scenario, here are a couple things you could try to resolve the 403 error: Restart apache if you havent done that since setting up the cron job Check to make sure the permissions on the directory or file the cron job uses are correct. I would highly suggest staying away from CartThrob in general, and Subscriptions in particular. I had to fix a half dozen bugs in their Subscriptions code myself before my client's site was half functional, and there are still issues with the product. Basic things like subscriptions rebilling, ending on expiration dates, etc. were all broken. MightyRobot ...

I would suggest checking out the Friends module from Solspace. It has a lot of this functionality built in. I'm not sure about the email notifications though, so you'll have to research that part, and if it doesn't do it natively, I'm positive Postmaster can help with that.

1

At present there are no coupon/discounts that have been created that do either/or. The built in settings govern whether or not discounts should be applied on subsequent payments (based on a discount set in the cart on purchase), but there's nothing created at this point that does specifically what you're asking. I suggest you schedule a Phone/Skype ...

Judging by your use of {id}, {interval_units}, and {interval_length} I'm assuming you have all that wrapped in a {exp:cartthrob:plans} tag pair and that you're trying to adjust the price of an existing plan. Here's how you would do that. {exp:cartthrob:plans} {!-- specify the subscription plan id to add the item to the cart --} {exp:cartthrob:...

I appreciate the input above, but after additional research found the handy extension from Brian Litzinger: Custom System Messages which completely resolved the issue for me.

Regarding Solspacer User & Paypal... The Solspace User module brings membership forms into normal templates. That will be separate from anything you are doing with Paypal & payments. I believe you & I have emailed before about adding a pay wall to your EE site... Here's a new non EE option that I found recently: TinyPass. If it works as ...

I'd look at the simple approach and not sure of how your signup process is working. You'll need to write a custom add-on for this. After doing a cursory google search, I found this article, which suggests pinging the domain's mail server, submitting the email address and using the server's response to validate. I did another google search to see if there are PHP functions available to perform these actions. This Stack Overflow question &...
