Dec 5, 2013 at 15:18 | comment | added | enga | Definitely more time. I am in touch with Pixel and Tonic and hopefully they will point me in the right direction for a solution. I will update here if I find one! Thank you so much for your help, and thank you to everyone else that has tried to help, very appreciated!

If it's critical I would just roll my own code to get what I want out of the matrix columns keeping it as simple as possible. But that's only if matrix is the problem, I would try playing around with the contents or look at the queries, dig a little deeper first before going custom.
Dec 4, 2013 at 15:39 | comment | added | enga | I have stripped it to nearly nothing and run some tests and I know that it is the Matrix field in particular causing the issue. I will update my post with what I have done (hopefully this doesn't make my post too unwieldy, I'm not sure if there is etiquette regarding massive posts here!)

Strip the problem section down to its bare, literally nothing, then introduce a Matrix field, alternate the one field with the next Matrix field, and so on?
Dec 2, 2013 at 23:00 | comment | added | enga | This is what I find strange as well. Early this year I had the same issue with this page (EE v2.5.1) and part of the fix was using Switchee. My fear is that I vaguely remember finding a patch for a weird issue with my Pixel & Tonic plugins (Matrix, Playa, etc), but I have no idea what that was, and now that they have updated their websites and moved their support to a new system, there is absolutely no trail of what I may have done. I know that this is related to the Matrix field in particular, and may or may not be the actual P&T Lists inside of it, but otherwise, I'm stuck. :(

Dec 2, 2013 at 15:39 | comment | added | enga | Note: I have updated the code to correct the issue with the conditionals.
Dec 2, 2013 at 15:34 | comment | added | enga | Oh my, you are right. What happened there is I removed Switchee, which actually uses one equals sign to compare in the case statements, and forgot to clean that up after. I will come back after I have cleaned the code, and tested. embarassed
