My base template path doesn't appear to be working, and I'm not quite sure what I should have in the system/../config.php file? (I started with a config.php file from another project that doesn't use the Focus labs master config.)

My config.master.php is unchanged. I can access the CP but templates don't seem to be loading despite the master config: $env_config['tmpl_file_basepath'] = $base_path . '/../templates';

My setup is on MAMP with vhosts, and looks like this:

ee.dev
- config
- public_html
- system
- templates

system/config/config.php is as follows:

<?php  if ( ! defined('BASEPATH')) exit('No direct script access allowed');

Solved it.

Annoyingly, I hadn't put the templates inside a default_site subfolder.

So the setup should in fact be:

ee.dev
- config
- public_html
- system
- templates
-- default_site
--- * templates go in here! *

All working now.
